Hey Kurrent. Congrats man. Gotta ask how the hell you removed the black cover. I've watched three tutorials and my cover is on so tight.

Removing the black cover is as easy as changing underwear:

you need a good stanley knife with a new blade, presss the sharp edge down on each corner and twist and the cover will make a slight "pop sound". you are now able to slide the cover off with NO marks.

do NOT try and pry from the dock connection as it will warp the cover....

I have done 6 of these using this method...

On your iPhone, is there a gap between the black and metal covers?

On my iPhone, it's completely flush and tight (not even a millimeter of wiggle room.) I've used an exacto knife and all it's done it dig into the black plastic and remove a bit.

Completly flush, once you have a gap, pry it on both ends and the cover will slide off

Just HW unlocked my Iphone here in SW Calgary. It was alot easier than I thought. I used the http://iphone.unlock.no tutorial. Trust me when I say it was easy and of course cheaper to do.
