I revirginised my iPhone's 1.0.2 firmware today, upgraded to 1.1.1, unlocked the phone with AnySIM 1.1 and installed some apps. Everything was working perfectly until I unloaded the CommCenter, used minicom to examine the AT+SIMSTATE command output, quit, reloaded CommCenter and restarted. Now my iPhone says "iPod" in the upper left hand corner and SummerBoard fails to load!

I also cannot put my phone into restore mode by holding the power and home buttons anymore -- when the "Connect to iTunes" icon would normally come on, the phone just shuts off now. All I have is SSH access right now. Help!!

start itunes
hold the home button and connect to pc
keep holding
itunes should see phone and ask to restore
