Default iPhone tethering over Bluetooth to iPad?

I know that Jobs has said that they will not enable it, but what's the view of the people in the know of the bluetooth stack? Once the iPad is jailbroken will there be a cydia app that allows you to use your iphone to push data for the iPad?

Would think the ideal solution is wifi not bluetooth. That option works today as all the hacking is already done on the iPhone side. To the iPad it just looks like another wifi access point.

    ahhhhh... duh!

yea, you're right, WiFi would be better. Now why didn't I think of that?

Probably because when I did it with my Hackintosh, it set up directly with Bluetooth and was pretty easy. Are there directions somewhere to allow my MacOS Snow Leopard (Dell Mini) to use the WiFi connection in the iphone?

Tethering via Bluetooth does not work, I run an iPhone with tethering enabled.
My jailbroken 3GS running 3.1.2 has MyWi installed, the app offers a wi-fi-router. This one is working with my iPad - of cause.
