There's a blackberry internet plan for $19.99, and a total-internet plan for $29.99. I think they're both exactly the same speed-wise, but the total-internet one includes hotspots. Someone clarify this, as I'm not exactly sure...

The basic t-zones plan will work fine for your iPhone on T-Mobile. And actually, T-Mobile is very supportive of unlocked phones on their network. One time they actually provided me with support for a European phone that I had unlocked and used on their network. T-Mobile is MUCH better than AT&T. Great customer service as well (never hold for more than 1 minute).

Order your iPhoneSimFree unlock from http://www.freeit4less.com - 100% money back guarantee, and it only costs $45 USD for licenses! Plus, if you buy two (2) or more, you can use coupon code "buymore" to take $5 off! Better than the others...

thats true, the cheapest tzones plan blocks java apps, etc. and hence the connection is routed thru a different port, which makes the connection slow AFAIK.

You didn't mention what you have now.

You could always just buy a cheap TM phone and activate it as I did and just move the SIM over. I suppose if they gave you any problems, you could just move the SIM back to your TM phone and call them back and say "what iPhone, I never had one of those".

Personally I found that I have wifi access where I use my phone most (home + office) so I did not bother with signing up for edge. You might see how much wifi you have in your area before messing with edge especially since the cost on it will be close to AT&T.
