iphone stuck on apple logo screen
i bought a unlocked/jailbroken iphone 3gs 16gb
it still had the previous person information so i went to setting and did erase all.
now my phone is stuck on the white apple logo and i cant do anything
it put it into recovery mode but it tells me to restore and upgrade
i dont want the new ios4 because it cant be jailbroken and unlocked.
i need help urgent please

This has been explained many times already on this forum.
Erase all content and settings - removes the operating system as well. This is by design.
Scenario 1:
Was the iPhone jailbroken before (with something else than Spirit) you did the erase all content and settings?
and
Is the 3GS old bootrom? see PwnageTool 3.1.4 for Mac OS X for details on how to check
or
Scenario 2:
Do you have a SHSH for 3.1.3 or lower? The Firmware Umbrella The Firmware Umbrella can help you find that out.
if so you can restore with the saved SHSH and jailbreak again.
Otherwise you are stuck restoring to iOS 4.0.1 (yeap you can't even restore to 4.0 any more - Apple has already blocked that).
