I have a problem with my iphone.. It sometimes lag for 0.5s/1s especially when scrolling or playing games... for example, when i play icopter, my phone frequently 'freezes' for 0.5s/1s and resume back...

i have tried everything... restored using ziphone, iplus.. but nothing works...

playing music fine, no lagging here... it seems to be more marked whlie playing games and during scrolling...

anyone know what's the problem? I just wanna know whats the culprit...

i have the same problem but not while playing games only scrolling and sometimes while switching to the spring board. I notice that it isnt smooth sometimes.

I am having same problem When i upgraded and unlocked my iphone with winpwn to 2.0.0.2 it started to lagg when scrolling down, or writing with keyboard. Is there any possible solutions?

there must be somthing thats running and sucking up all the processing power of the phone... mine sometimes gets better after you respring it but it gets to lagging like hell sometimes..... maybe something in 2.1 or 2.2 will fix this?

I have this exact same problem.

Its actually because the RAM gets filled up, if you have too many icons / too many apps running in the background.

What did it for me was then I installed IntelliScreen.
If I disable IntelliScreen, the lag is gone. it uses too much memory methinks.

I wish I had a way to check the amount of memory each process is using on the iPhone .

I cut back on my themes and amount of installed apps. And I found a speed increase when opening apps.
Themes seems to be the biggest culprit.

ok since all of us are probably using winterboard and other things that work thru mobile substrate maybe the fix to the problem will in an update of substrate
bcuz ive noticed that when mobilesubstrate crashes and goes into safe mode, i never get any lagging
