I finally figured out why my iphone keeps shutting down on it's own. When the phone is locked (black screen) and someone calls it shuts down. I have to press and hold the power and home key to reboot it every time. I can, however, get calls when the phone isn't locked, but it takes a while to ring (longer than normal).

I unlocked it using iBrickr and anySIM and am using T-Mobile.

Can anyone help or direct me on what to do?

I know this might sound stupid, but did you make sure the battery is properly charged?

Battery is full and still happens (that was my first thought, but of course too good to be true).

I've done a restore once already after the first time and then had to do anySIM again and it wouldn't work (got an error saying couldn't find/read patch or something like that). I had to reinstall with itunes several times b4 it worked again (I ended up not having to use anySIM after jailbreaking it the final time, which I thought was weird). Is there a way to avoid this problem?

Okay seems like that worked. I didn't have to unlock again just jailbreak. Thanks for the suggestion! You're a iphone life saver!

Okay I figured out what the original cause of the problem was. Any time I synce my iphone with itunes it does this where it locks my phone when someone calls when it is asleep. Any one had this problem?
