    Default iPhone shuts down in sleep mode

    I purchased an 16GB iPhone last week, unlocked successfully by ZiPhone 2.4. My iPhone worked perfectly for two days then it started shutting down when it is in sleep mode for more than 15 seconds. The only way to turn iPhone on is to press both Home and ON/OFF buttons. The iPhone is OK when it is plugged in (charging) or connected to a PC.
    I've tried everything from a complete reset to a complete restore as a new iPhone from iTunes but the problem persists.
    I would like to hear from anyone who has the same problem or know how to fix it.
    Thanks in advance

    The screen staying off is a bug it seems of jailbreaking.

    I would suggest if restoring is not fixing it then return it to factory condition and return it to apple to be exchanged for a new phone.

    How do you do this? If ZiPhone downgraded your bootloader add BootNeuter to the phone using the installer source (check the pwnage forum for the source) and reflash your bootloader to 4.6 (if your phone came with that and ZiPhone downgraded it) and re-lock your phone then restore in itunes and the phone will be back to factory condition.

    This may be worth trying as well to fix the problem, you can then unlock it again with pwnage (windows version will be out today!).

    FW 1.0.2--> iUnlock--> iPhoneSIMfree--> 1.1.1 --> 1.1.2--> Soft upgrade 1.1.3 --> 1.1.4 using signal.app
    iPhone UK 16GB
    FW 1.1.3 OOB --> 1.1.4 --> iPlus 1.2 unlocked!

    Currently there is no fix for this problem. Its so annoying when this happens ahh. Right now I am installing applications one by one to see which app causing this problem. Anybody can help PM me and telling me everything you installed and we'll compare. XianLi is helping to He figured out that it was the springboard crashing in sleep mode most likely caused by a specific application or tweak. PM me and well fix this
