is the iPhone platform open for publlic ??
i was just curious about the devlopers of all the apps and games i found on my installer, i noticed they're different from the apps at apple.com..
could anyone explain to me what's going on in the app's world .. thnx

and p.s, when the platform opens, or if it is, i guess there should be a race for the first application that will send files via bluetooth or wi-fi network, ithink this will be a buster, to be able to send/recieve files from other iphones/itouch or regular phones, it would be coool.

Very simply, apple.com has web apps, installer has apps that reside on your phone. The obvious difference is that you don't need an internet connection to run the apps on installer.
