iPhone Restore Question.
Hi,
Just a quick question I was hooping someone could help me with.
I am currently running a fully unlocked iPhone with firmware version 1.0.2. I also have iTunes version 7.4.1 installed on my MAC.
My question: -
When you complete a restore of the iPhone via iTunes it seems to download the latest firmware from Apple and use this to restore the iPhone. However when the new firmware is released how do you prevent iTunes from restoring your iPhone with this new firmware?
I ask because like many others I want to stay on version 1.0.2, however may also need to complete a restore from time to time.
Any information would be great.
Cheers all.

This is quite simple Bro. You will need to download the 1.0.2 firmware for the Iphone and save it sometwhere in your hard driver. Anytime you want to restore the phone, You will need to hold the atl key if you are on a PC (please correct me if I'm wrong b'cause I'm a MAC person) and instead the option key if you are on a MAC (this one I can be sure).
Itunes will notice that you selecte option and ask you to point to the direction where you save the firmware earlier and Voila`. Enjoy restoring from time to time.

iTunes 7.4.2 (Mac)
http://appldnld.apple.com.edgesuite....Tunes7.4.2.dmg
iTunes 7.4.1 (Mac)
http://appldnld.apple.com.edgesuite....Tunes7.4.1.dmg
Firmware 1.0.2
