Within the flashing of the baseband the phone poweroff because of the batt...
Now the phone is working but he cant unlock it... he got the message that anysim could not flash the firmware.

Apparently people are getting the message of the flash failing but it still works. Tell him to try putting in his other sim and seeing if it works...

It's amazing how some people can be so oblivious to big things like battery life when flashing a $400 piece of hardware... You think you would take the time to make sure everything was set up before running a piece of software that messes with your phone. He's just luck that if he did mess his firmware up, it is reversable.

If it truly does not work, then his best chance is to restore the baseband firmware to its original state (using bbupdater and reflashing the original files) and trying to run anySIM again.

However he needs to be lucky in that his commboard isnt bricked....

put a copy of the 1.0.2 firmware in a directory on your Mac.
rename the extension on the firmware from ipsw to zip
    unzip it
    run: dd if=009-7698-4.dmg of=ramdisk.dmg bs=512 skip=4 conv=sync
use finder to navigate to the directory where ramdisk.dmg is and double-click it to mount it.
copy the following files to the directory you unziped iUnlock_Reloaded.zip in:
    /Volumes/ramdisk/usr/local/bin/bbupdater
    /Volumes/ramdisk/usr/local/standalone/firmware/ICE03.14.08_G.eep
    /Volumes/ramdisk/usr/local/standalone/firmware/ICE03.14.08_G.fls
copy those three files to your iPhone: scp -p bbupdater ICE* root@youriphoneip:/unlock
on your iPhone, run: cd /unlock
on your iPhone, run: launchctl unload /System/Library/LaunchDaemons/com.apple.CommCenter.plist
on your iPhone, run: ./bbupdater -f *.fls -e *.eep
on your iPhone, run: launchctl load /System/Library/LaunchDaemons/com.apple.CommCenter.plist
