Exclamation Iphone not turning on after connecting to speakers

As the title sais, yesterday my iPhone instantly turned off after I placed it
on a freinds ipod speaker deck to see if it would play some music. I think it
was a JBL speaker deck. After this it wouldnt turn on and it no longer recognizes
if I connect it to the computer or to electricity.

Any ideas on what I can do? I've only had like 3 weeks with it

Call Apple and tell them "my iphone will not turn on, it wont charge or do anything, and that its 3 weeks old" dont say nuttin bout plugging it in that speaker. o and, they will send u a box, along with a loner and u send ur phone to them and they will fix it, if fixable or sen u a refurb.

From what i gather - there have been warning not to put phones into suck speaker dock systems because most of those system are using ipod connectors and there haven't been any that officially say that iphones can be connected - even though they can.

Apparently the dock fit isn't perfect even though the phone will fit and the voltage that ipods take is different to iphones. Someone else in here reported that their screen started flashing white lines etc and then died.

I hope u haven't learnt this the hard way!

So i would say to people - do not put your iphones on these docking speaker systems - not until they explicitly say that an iphone can be used, because at least then if your phone gets busted - you can claim a new one from the speaker company!

This happened to my girlfriends iPhone. It appeared to be turned off, and would not turn on. Thing was that it was actually still turned on, but appeared to be off.

We plugged it into a computer and the screen came on for like 10 seconds then went back to the same situation.

We then plugged it back in to computer again and this time when it came on we turned it off by holding the top power button and then sliding the red slider.

When we turned it back on again after about 20 seconds all appears to be ok again.

Not sure if it's the same as yours but we were very relieved.
