After unlocking my 1.1.2 iphone my phones name is untitled playlist... is there anyway to change this?

You can change the name in iTunes, by clicking its name in the sidebar.

did anyone elses phone after update and jailbreak become named untitled playlist? it also completely deleted my old backup for my phone erasing all my contacts, notes, settings, etc... is there anyway to change the name of my phone back to what it was?

just click the iphone name, you can edit it right there in the left column of itunes.

lmao! one of the reasons i restored is because of my name

No you can't. Under devices my iPhone name also shows up as "untitled playlist" and it won't let me edit it. If I right-click on it the only options in the drop down menu are; EJECT, SYNC, TRANSFER PURCHASES and RESET WARNINGS. Left-click won't do anything.

Please help!!

It won't work for me. Left-click doesn't do anything and right-click brings up a drop down menu with EJECT, SYNC, TRANSFER PURCHASES and RESET WARNINGS. Please help!! Is there some other way to change the name back to My iPhone.

Just click it once & it will be available for editing. It works!
