I purchased an iphone that was already unlocked but I do not know what method was used (it was definitely a software unlock). The phone randomly rebooted constantly but it did work and was unlocked. I tried many restores to fix this problem and finally purchased an ipsf unlock code and updated the iphone to 1.1.1. I then downgraded to 1.02, activated the iphone, and ran the simfree application. Everything now works and the iphone no longer does the random reboot. It is totally unlocked and working. However, the modem firmware now shows that it is 04.01.13_G, instead of 03.14.08_G. The imei number is correct for the phone and it is unlocked and on Orange here in Poland. I am just wondering if this is a normal result, as all the posts I have read talk about getting the baseband back to 03.14 to unlock it, which I didn't have to do. Naturally since everything is working I will leave it as it is.

It is fine like it is, people just downgrade to 03.14 to be able to use the free unlock, as only ipsf can unlock 04.01

The phone will work fine with the new modem firmware and 1.02 software

i think problem with unlock software .(not sure)

today i buy simfree for fix .
