Iphone Locked
Hey guys.
I have bought a Iphone 2g from America.
But it accedently updated to the latest version.
When i connect it to Itunes it says : The SIM-card in this Iphone is not supported.
I need to get this back to the version 2.2 or something.
And i need to hack it again.
But i have no idea how i can get it back to the older version because i cant do shit in Itunes.
Anyone got some suggestions?
thanks already!

Ok.
Sorry if iam asking noob questions but im a noob with this
.
The thing is, when i put it in Recovery mode, you see in the right screen under deviced: Iphone. and i can click on recovery.
My question is,do i need to click on recovery or just use the Redsnow thingy.
Because in the Tutorial, when you see the pictures u see : A new version is available.
But the only thing I see is about the SIM card is not compitable with this Iphone.

This same question has been answered many times on this forum.
The whole point of me saying to put the iPhone into recovery mode was to remove the message about the SIM card being incompatible with the phone so you can restore.
You are confused between two very similar screens on the iPhone. One has a slide to activate option (and produces the incompatible SIM message) the other does not have this and will give you only a restore button in the right hand side of the iTunes window.
My instructions were 100% correct.
