I've owned my iphone for a few days now (113 oob) and i notice at some applications the systems lags a bit. When i enter e-mails then the sliding makes some small lags/delays. And when i enter websites - the keyboard control lags a bit too on heavy websites.

on youtube when entering the bottom buttons first reacts after a couple of seconds (i guess it loads) before they light up.

on apps like calculator and weather it goes very smooth.

is this normal and only caused by cpu bottleneck?

I think this is pretty normal. However, sometimes my phone will sometimes slow down even when no apps are supposedly running. (locking and unlocking sounds sound jittery) Force-quitting the Springboard or restarting brings my phone back to normal. I think some processes continue in the background without getting killed when they're supposed to. This is pretty familiar territory for anyone who uses OSX though. It seems to happen sometimes.


(this might have soemthing to do with the fact that I use custom sounds with "Customize" <custom build>) Hopefully these homebrew apps will continue to be updated in the future with more stable code. Things seem to work pretty well for the most part.
