Default iPhone keeps resetting after upgrading to 1.1.1

Ever since i followed the revirgnized process using geohot's server and then upgraded to 1.1.1 using iNdependence, my iPhone has been resetting constantly. It does not seem to matter what i do, i could be in Address Book, iPod, Safari, Installer..., it would reset and take me back to the menu screen. If i continue to try to get into particular app, eventually, after a few times, it would reset and take me to the unlock screen. Now i am not sure if this is related to all the third party apps that i have installed since the first thing i did after successfully upgrading to 1.1.1 was installing third party apps.

Do you guys think a restore is going to fix this?

I also have this problem with my revirginized 1.1.1 iPhone.

Not fix yet but one of our member suggest that uninstall the Summerboard would help.
but I am on work now and have no time to try out yet.

May be you can try and please post the feedback.

Last night, i completely re-installed 1.1.1. This time round, instead of choosing to restore the previously synced stuff back to my iPhone, i selected a new setup instead. So far, my phone has not yet reset itself. Now i have not installed Summerboard so i don't know if Summerboard is the cause of this. That's the next step i will do - install Summerboard.

I think a lot of those problems aren't related to 1.1.1, but more related to summerboard.

Ever since I turned off the "dim wallpaper" option, I haven't had a problem.

    Give it a shot.

Yeah, it is definitely Summerboard-related. I got the first reset since last night after i had just installed Summerboard just moments ago. I am going to try your recommendation on turning off the "dim wallpaper" option. Thanks!

I wonder if the problem can be remedied by uninstalling Sboard, or if the Sboard has irreversibly modified system files that have created these mini-crashes.

This appears to be reversible. This morning right after installing Summerboard, i suffered two resets. After reading a suggestion to turn off "Dim Wallpaper" option in Summerboard, my phone has not reset once for the past 7 hours. So i believe if you want to continue to use Summerboard and yet don't want to have to suffer from the constant iPhone resetting, then turn off "Dim Wallpaper" option.

Just turn off the Dim Wallpaper from the Summerboard will fix all the reset problem. No need to be uninstall.

My 1.1.1 iphone haven't crash or apps. unexpected quit problems since turn off this feature since 24th morning..
