"This Iphone "Iphone could not be restored. There is not enough memory available."

I searched about this problem. Everyone just appeared to have luck changing computers. Unfortunately, I have now tried to restore the software on 3 computers and have gotten the same message all three times. The message comes after the software is extracted in Itunes.

All 3 computers have at least 20 gigs available. My Iphone is a 4 giger.

    Any ideas? Someone?

    Thanks,

    Oscar

Yer it happened to me once, well start/right click my pc(or system)/properties/ advanced options/envoirment variables (something like that) Then modify the TMP and TEMP locations to another location.
Sorry I have the windows spanish version. But that should work.
Reboot and presto, post your results.

Default 3 ways - hope one will do it

    Hi,

I had this problem too so first of all as the great book said: don't panic !

Re-check that the same disk which itune is intall into has at least 5 GB free
I say this after i knew i had allot of free space but it was on the second drive not the one i installed itune to.

If this fail it time to make a new friend. he only has to have a mac.
for some reason, restore on a mac seems to work - almost always ;-)

And the final, if hell breaks loose, go to Apple store or to where you ought your iphone and thay will be happy to restore it for you.
I didnt do it my self as my iphone came from the states and live in Israel ut from what I have been reading in this forms and other it always worked.

Hope I helped you a little bit.

no need just winstall and it will reboot its a corrupted 1100 error with jailbreak being misplaced. Just run winstall.

    Huh?

Sorry, I am not very computer literate. Can someone better explain Tivo's response? When I search for winstall it looks like it is associated with adware?

    I am doing something wrong.

    Thanks,

    Oscar

I just tried that. I modified the location to another place on the C drive as that is the only hd I have on the computer. However, unfortunately, after rebooting, I got the same error message.

Anyone else have any ideas to try?

    Thanks,

    Oscar

    I fixed this stupid problem...WinXP users let's go !

1, Right click on my computer, advance, enviroment tab, then change TEMP and TMP to C:\TEMP and C:\TMP ,then click OK .
2.Make your iphone to restore mode (home & on bottons) and conect to your computer.
3.Restart your computer, hold shif and choose FW V.1.0.2 that you have in your computer, then click ,"restore" .It will take around 5 minutes.

OBS!! MAKE SURE that you have not choosed FW V.1.1.1 before clicking "restore"

    Good luck.
