    Default iPhone and iHome H6 Alarm Clock?

    Hey all,

    I was just wondering if anybody had any experience with the iHome H6 alarm clock (or any iHome clock radios, for that matter), as I just sold my iPod in lieu of purchasing an iPhone. I'll be moving to a new place in January, and I believe this would still work, however, I just wanted to be sure. I've heard some pretty bad stories of unauthorized iPod accessories frying iPhones, so I just wanted to check.

    Thanks guys.

    Not all accesories work, as far as I have read the iHomes do work with iphones, you will get a message "this accesory is not for iphone" but u ignore the message and thats it.

    However I tried a fw days back the iblaster alarm clock for ipod and it didnt work. It charged the iphone but it didnt deliver the sound through the speakers.

    Hope this helps.
    iPhone 1.1.3 Telcel, Mexico
    OTB 1.1.1 --> Jailbreakme.com --> Unlocked 1.1.1
    --> Unlocked 1.1.2 --> Unlocked 1.1.3
    video recording, camera zoom, MMS

    It seemed like a good idea at the time...

    Cant comment on iHome H6, but I have the H5 and it works fine with it, and has been doing so since I got my iPhone back in July. You do get the "not made for iPhone" message but it can be discarded. You need to turn off the phone function though or you'll get GSM noise through the speakers.

    I've also read about about "frying" phones problems. It makes me nervous now each time I dock it with the phone, but thats a risk only you can decide if you want to take.
