International support.. I really hope so!

    I miss my special characters - æ ø å - when writing SMS'

PS. 1.1.1 seems like quite a jump in firmware revision?

It isn't international if you're living there. IE: We're considered "international" to folks in Europe. This option must certainly add 'Disable data when roaming' type option. Maybe international characters? Who knows.

As for the iTunes Music Store, they already said it's coming to iPhone...

BTW they purposely put that 'Firmware 1.1.1' screen shot in there. Why wouldn't they scroll down and show 'Serial number', but instead took a screen shot at the top of the page and said 'scroll down until you see Serial Number'? They obviously want people to notice the new firmware...

    Sneaky bastards.

If you look closly it loks like the Modem Firmware version is different from 1.0.2 (03.14.08_G VS 04.02.04_G) So would'nt this mean that it would kill the unlock?

Perhaps the new firmware provides you with the ability to receive rapid SMS messages (i.e. voice mail alerts from your operator) and a correction for that nasty calendar sync error.

How can the different versions tell you anything? Maybe 04.02.04 doesn't allow writes anymore, whereby making it impossible to unlock the iPhone after the upgrade.

I'm not desperate to use iTunes over wifi. I'm happy with my TMobile iPhone just the way it is, and anything more I add to it is a bonus. It would take a lot more than Wifi Itunes or a shortcut key to music controls to get me to go to the trouble to have to re-unlock it again, or risk having it locked again forever.

I'd like flash support, and I'd like a few other things, but none of them will tempt me to re-lock my phone and sign a two year contract. Give it up AT&T, you've already lost!

aha now here we definitely agree! I certainly wouldn't risk locking my phone again for anything! Thankfully we have people who will happily throw themselves in the way of that train... So, let them find out the problems and release a modified update!

    Yay!
