    Default Iphone exchange - How?

I need to exchange my iphone over some dead pixels and reception issues.

The only problem is that I got the iphone of ebay and am using an unofficial o2 sim card. The iphone isnt jailbroken etc.

Its activated by the previous owner as he got the iphone as an upgrade and sold it.

    Cheers

Well, its not an iphone tariff or an iphone o2 sim card, its my old o2 sim card im using in it.

The iphone is an upgrade from the revious user. I assumed this was going to be a problem at the apple store

What would they do, just take my iphone and swap it for another

well, you dont need to be activated on theri network to have claim you warranty, i'll recommend you take the phone to the store witout the sim.

check out this link, veryfy the notice after you put your serial number, it says you dont need to be activated to get warranty

Default Here is how I returned iPhone

28 Days shy of my 1 year expiration, my Jailbroken Tmobile iPhone running 2.0 had dead strip issue. I called apple and used my father's att phone number.
Once satisfied that legitimate ATT phone number was given.
They asked me if I lived near apple store, I said no and that was that.
They sent me an empty box over night, and within three days, I got my new iPhone!

I think the trick is to use someone's att phone number. They just asked me for address info on the phone number, nothing else.

Who did you contact for this issue? I called both ATT and Apple. They say I need to come into an Apple Store and have someone take a look at the phone. They said there isn't any other way we can get the phone replaced.
