    Default iPhone earpiece quality .... Very crackly

    Hi,

    Im in UK with Orange. Got my iPhone (1.1.1) last week and unlock it with anysim and idependance.

    I have had the cover that came with it on for a week and what getting annoyed about the sound qulality of the earpiece so I decided to take it off to see if it improved as it did not.

    The sound from the earpiece still sounds mufled and cuts out sometimes.... using speaker phone and the headphones is fine....

    Any one else had this problem?

    I had this problem for the first time tonight... I was struggling to hear what the other person was saying

    I had full signal btw, and I'm on T-Mobile UK

    Did the sound suddenly stop aswell?

    What model do you have 4GB or 8GB?
