Default Iphone is dead after trying to unlock please help!

I tried to unlock my iphone, and something went wrong... i installed the iunlocker and after i installed that something went wrong...

right now i cannot even get into my phone whenever i start up my phone i get a screen which states me to connect the phone with itunes.
Whenever i connect it with itunes and try to restore the phone i get an error message saying : there is a error thats unknown..

Someone knows what to do, the version of the iphone was 1.0 and i have no clue what to do my iphone is useless right now since i cannot even start it up...
i bought it today if ill bring it back to the store you think they will replace my broken one with a new one..
is there a way in the store from at&t they can find out that i tried to unlock the phone or do they just replace the phone...

    Please help

    regards

lie to the at&t store and tell them it just stopped working randomly. If they ask if you tried to unlock it or install any 3rd party apps, just say no.

I've had enough of these corporate bastards trying to shut us out.

Try to restore your iPhone unter Windows. My first unlock test was run with a mac and I had the same error with mac itunes. Under Windows the iPhone restores normaly. You can also try to use a older version of iTunes. (maybe 7.4)

sorry this happened to you, but you should have read the tutorials, the unlock does not work with firmware 1.0 only 1.0.1 or 1.0.2.
your best bet right now is to try restore on a mac, if that doesn't work, the next best idea is to go back to the apple sotre and say it was like that when u opened it!

the only problem is i cannot tell them i get it like that out of the box cause i activated it through itunes, so they can see i activated it right?..

i bought it at the AT&T store,

You think if i will bring it back to the at&t store and show them that my phone doesnt work, you cannot get into the phone, whenever you turn the iphone on i get the screen to connect it to itunes and whenever i connect it to itunes and try to update something i get an error message... so if ill bring it back to AT&T you think they will replace my phone?

just take it back. Tell them when you tried to activate it just all of a sudden froze up. You decided to restore, asked to connect to iTunes then the error showed up. You just bought I today, so there should he no problem. Good luck

Amsty, i am sure there is a way that we can restore your phone.

    dial *3001#12345#*

and go to versions at tell us what you see

lets get some info. are you seeing the triangle connect to itunes or are you seeing the picture of the usb plug?
#Easier way to check for 1.1.1 firmware found: just hold power and home untill in restore mode if it displays
    **** this *****

above is what you want to see

    below is NOT

if you see that, its bad, if you see a yellow triangle, you may be able to restore and unlock still..
