Hi,

i was wondering if anyone knows of a good solution to "dock" the iPhone somewhere in the car... doesnt need to be charged in the car. But i'd like it if it is some place safe where i can read the screen and maybe access the googlemaps application very easy to use it as roadmap.

i got the bluetooth kit with my rebate, so i put that dock in my car:



i needed an aux input 3.5mm for my radio->back of the dock and a usb charger- cigarette lighter adapter. works great! the adapter is from http://pie.net/

it would have been much easier if the dual dock had the passthru 30pin like the supplied dock. then it would be just the one 30pin cable to the radio.
