Hello everyone,

I hope u are enjoying your new iphones. However, I was wondering why the iphone camera lacks some functions like video recording, zoom etc. I have read that the camera can do it but it lacks some software. If someone has the know how as to explain to the rest of us, how difficult will it be for someone to develop the piece of software to do this. Maybe we can do a donation for the one who develops it or just tell me it is not possible to do it and the reasons please.

This is just for educational purposes for those of us who have not too much programming knowledge.

I think it's pretty obvious with the blue, chubby symbol at the beggining of the title, that this was a question-post... some people seems to need things clarified, though --this is a wink in case you don't get it...


Now seriously, I've been thinking of this kind of functionality, too, along with photo-post-processing software for the iPhone. If anyone can shed light on this, it would be appreciated.
