    Default iPhone applications won't respond

ok, so here's my new iPhone, it's jailbreaked and just waiting for new applications. So I install some programs with installer, everything is going well until I turn off the power and reboot it; the opening takes several minutes and there are some kind of white and black bars in the screen during a few moments, until the apple logo comes back. Then I type in my security code and get to my desktop. Everything looks good until I ty to access a program, like for example, I open the notepad. What happens then is very disturbing; the application loads perfectly and again, everyhing looks good, but then, r I try to interract with the application, but it won't. It's like if my screen is locked,or if the application froze. So what I do to solve this, is a reboot, then if nothing happens, I reboot my iPhone again and again and again... So I need your help to help me figure out what happent and how to solve this situation, because it has really become a pain in the arse.

    Thanks for reading

We'd need some more information on your iPhone to help you.
    Wich firmware version?
    Unlockt with xxx software
    Installed apps.

For testing if the phone is ok, you could restore to 1.1.4, jailbreak, activate, unlock again with iLiberty or Pwnage without loading all the apps you wanna have later. does the problem still exist?

If I were you I would go for a restore to 1.1.4. The iPhone will be locked then.

I`d use iLiberty then to jailbreak, activate unlock. Check here in the forum, we have stickies that document all the steps.

After that just install the programms you really need and check before in the forum. Some are known to cause problems.

It's always better to know whats on the phone, so that will only happen if you give it a fresh start.

The problem is, you are telling me to have so many apps, you cant even count them. If you check the forum here, there are some combinations that dont go along well. So it's hard to tell if just deinstalling will be helpful.

I guess if you download the current firmware (link below)
    http://www.hackint0sh.org/forum/showthread.php?t=22056

plus iLiberty (are you on Mac or Windows?)
    http://theiphoneproject.org/index.ph...c=select&id=14

then check the stickies on how-to-iLiberty
    http://www.hackint0sh.org/forum/showthread.php?t=35423

The above will show two links with tutorials.

Then after reading a bit you will be done with all the stuff in less than an hour.
