Hi, ppl im new on this. I just upgraded my iphone 3g to 4.2.1 with ipad baseband, Now my history is, i downgrade the firmware to 3.1.3 still ipad baseband of course, now, i just saw the drain battery fix in youtube and blah blah blah...


My question is, i need to upgrade the firmware to 4.2.1 of course, the normal way and i have to jailbreak again? or just upgrade and install the last 1.2 redsn0w ? anyone who can help me to tell me what exactly to do step by step, or just tell me if u have a phone like mine, "what do u do?" waiting for u guys

What battery drain fix are you talking about? The only one I know of is this one: http://www.hackint0sh.org/f204/194306.htm - that should work on 3.1.3

im talking about that i have mi currently device on firmware 3.1.3 with ipad baseband, now what i have to do to get again 4.2.1? that i have to jailbreak or hacktivate with the lastes version of redsn0w (1.2)?

For users with 6.15 baseband, Pwnagetool 4.1.3 Custom IPSW is the ONLY way to go back to 4.2.1 again
