Hey ive got this phone from my my sister and it wont turn on unless i plug it into the computer and even then it doesnt boot past the restore screen, ive tried restoring it in DFU mode and regular mode and still hasnt worked, ive tried other versions of software and got error code 20 and when i tried the newest software (3.1.2) i got error code 1611. ive also tried it on another computer and that didnt work and i tried using an older version of itunes as well... Please help. thanks

Post a copy of the latest iTunes updater log (~/Library/Logs/iPhone Updater Logs/ on OS X or somewhere under %appdata%\Apple Computer\Logs\ on windows) on pastebin.com and then post the link to the log file at pastebin here in this thread.
