Hi,

My iPhone battery died today before I got chance to charge it. Now when I plug it in it won't charge. If I try to turn the iPhone on I just get the low battery image which disappears after a second or two. According to the Apple website:

If you see the red part of the battery image flash three times and then the screen goes black, it means that iPhone is not receiving power to charge.

This is what happens so it would seem to confirm my suspicions that the phone isn't charging.

Does anyone know what the most likely reason for this is?

Try to clean the connector using brush.
