    Unhappy Iphone 2G brick - hang on startup

    Hy There!

    i have a Problem with my iphone.it dont start anymore.it hangs on the apple logo.
    So i try to restore the firmware with itunes but itunes dont identify the iphone and so restore is impossible(error 1619).
    So what can i do to reactivate the iphone?Any idea?
    Iphone 2G unlocked with PWNageTool 2.0.Firmware 2.0

    Try to put it in DFU Mode then try to restore to a non-customized 2.0 FW with iTunes 7.7.
    iPhone 3G 16GB 3.1.2 Black T-Mobile D

    Default DFU Mode not possible

    No that work.I seen a Itunes logo with an USB cable logo and than an error message appears on itunes with error code 1619

    Thats NOT the DFU mode, thats recovery mode. Just look around on YouTube how to put your iphone into DFU mode. If you did it right you should see a dark screen with no logo and no picture.

    Itunes detect the iphone but cannot restore the firmware (errorcode 1)

    disconect your phone and reboot ur computer

    put your phone in dfu mode and restore to 2.0 or 1.1.4 and unlock it with ur preferd software
