Iphone 2G: automatic reboot after shutdown
Been searching/googling for a week now to find the reason/solution for this strange behaviour. The phone just dont wants to be shutdowned anymore. After shutdown, it automatically reboots. Tried already to restore/upgrade several times but after these actions I am starting to believe it is rather a hw problem.
Anyone an idea about what would be the issue here and how I would be able to test any kind of hw components?
For testing purposes I have replaced the back cover (with buttons) of my other iphone to see if there would be anything related to that but without any result.
Next hw step would logically be to change battery or main board...
So, if anyone has experience in this kind of issue/behaviour or has a suggestion, it is more then welcome!
Did you try a DFU restore and "setup as a new iPhone" (after restore in iTunes) just to make sure to get rid of all left-overs from the old system?
