I've not been on here in quite a while, it's a credit to the scene how quickly you guys evolve on here.
I'm unlocking a 1st G iphone for a friend. I've followed a few tutorials but it's not letting me update the firmware to the 3.0 ipsw I have in itunes. My friend found this iphone a few years ago and was going to sell it, never did, now he wants to use it. Can someone link me to a tutorial or explain how I should be fixing this? I'm bamboozled
Using a mac btw. The days of plugging it in and using pwnage are long gone

So the iPhone is running OS 2.0 now?
