My roommate asked about the iPhone and what was funny is that he uses BSE on his electronics too. He asked me how come I didn't apply the invisible skin yet but when I told him it was already on there he was amazed cause he couldn't even notice.

    Love the invisible skin!

I have used BSE for over a year now on my Nintendo DS Lite and it still looks perfect like the day I bought it. It actually helps against fingerprints. I put one on my iPhone and have had no problems since. The corners were a little tricky but all you have to do is wait for them to dry then press down on them and they will stick.

I am currently using the Crystal film with the BSE.

I used the full body skin on the iPhone from BSE too. The front was easy but I was having issues with the tabs also. I ended up cutting the tabs but butchered the whole back skin. Good thing I had leftover DIY skin leftover (It's ~3"x9") so I made a custom back skin. Looks great but doesn't cover the edges :\

I'm going for the BSE AND the egrips.com stuff. Prolly going to get the universal 12 piece and the iphone pieces and use the small strips from the universal pack for the sides of the iphone. I plan on putting it over the skin, obviously. I already dropped my phone and cracked the screen, fortunately apple sent me another with no issues and no extra cost. I dropped it because of sweaty palms/loose grip. That won't happen again with the skin and egrips on :-)

BodyGuardZ seem to have the best since it comes in two but I've only purchased from SZ and BSE. BSE's cheap too. I recommend BSE over SZ.
From a price standpoint, yes the BSE is better. But the way the SZ fits on the corners is much better looking (teardrop shaped patches to complete the protection. Plus a lifetime replacement policy should anything ever happen to it!

Both these things are worth an extra 10 or so bucks to me.

I'm quoting this from uicandrew, a member on MacRumors. Do the math and you'll see BSE still ends up being cheapest. And who cares about the lifetime warranty? You're really going to keep the iPhone for 20+ years? Yeah right, most change their phones after 1-2 years.

ok. let's do some simple math.

expiring today, the bestskinsever is $6+$2 for shipping=$8 (the regular price is $8+$2 shipping)

invisibleshield costs $25 with free shipping.

also, WHO NEEDS A WARRANTY? this isn't something with moveable parts that can break easily. this is a piece of semi-permanent film. also, even if you get a replacement, there is a shippping charge of $3 EACH time

    http://www.shieldzone.com/guarantee/index.html

so getting 2 invisible shields costs $28 and 3 shields costs $31, and 4 is $34, and 5 is $37

getting 3 best skins ever costs $24 because it is free shipping (if you buy 3 or more skins at once), and 4 skins is $32, and 5 skins is $40

So just working out the math, you'd have to replace the skins FIVE times before the invisible shield is more economical. not only that, you have to wait for the invisibleshield to be mailed to you and you have to mail the original one back each time. more trouble and hassle.

financially, any one who has done the math and read the details would know that the bestskinsever is a better deal.
