Yesterday a friend of mine called me asking if I had a solution for a problem he had with his iphone. While he came to my office I browsed the forum and found that many users had problems with lint in the earphone jack making the iphone think that an earphone was connected.

So, after solving my friend problem using some canned air and many plug-unplugs I decided to make a jack cover, and this is the result:



Its made in acrylic and has a small perimetral dent to allow easy extraction.

Jokes apart, I think it will solve my friends problem, just in case I made one for myself too.

some people report also about the notch for earphones "cut" his finger, ill try to do one for me too, obviosly without infring any copyright

Can I have the measurements? I don't want to scratch my iphone with the calibre
Great job was wondering why nothing was included in the box, I mean Apple used to put plastic caps even on cables.

the outer hole is 6.05mm the inner part is 3.5mm

The total lenght was done by the eye, I dont recall the size, but its small
