did anyone try sending text msgs to his/her iphone via the internet ... I tried using Skype to test... it worked only the encoding of the text came out to be garbage ... any suggestions? just to confirm ... the language that I sent the txt msg in was English...

I also tried registering my phone number with google alerts and it sent me a verification msg..."plain english txt" and still I got it as garbage

can anyone help me out here ... or is this a known problem?

this is a known problem no fix untill a new apple update come out with one
