has anybody had problems with the internal mic? When making or recieving a call with just the phone all the other person hears is static. Using the headphones works fine. Seems to me that it is a hardware problem, but since I'm using a software unlocked phone, this becomes problematic. Does anybody have any ideas?

is there a way to run system tests to see if there are any hardware failures?

any thoughts at all would be greatly appreciated.
