I've got an iPhone giving me radio problems. It was an OTB 1.0.2 which I activated and unlocked using INdependence and AnySIM. After this, the coverage would change from full-coverage to no coverage every few seconds. I couldn't dial out or receive calls.

After restoring/redoing the process a few times, I decided to try the 1.1.1 upgrade which worked fine and fixed the problem.

As an experiement I wanted to try 1.1.2 - so I followed a slightly modified iClarified method - downgraded to 1.0.2, unlocked using latest AnySIM. Radio problems returned, but I was guessing they would not be on 1.1.2.

Ran mknod on 1.0.2, updated to 1.1.2 ran Jailbreak and the phone was activated and unlocked..

Anyway, now the intermittent radio problem is back. Every few seconds it switches between coverage and none. Can't make or receive calls.

I'm going to reset the phone back to 1.1.1 which I hope will re-fix the problem, but thought I would post in case anyone has seen this or has ideas on how to solve this.

Quick followup - I downgraded back to 1.0.2, including the baseband and then virginized.

Upgrading back to 1.1.1 and the phone is working properly again. Weird.
