Intermittant Wifi is Driving Me Crazy
Hi,
I purchased a new iPhone on Friday and upon opening the box and trying *#301# my wifi was disabled. (greyed out)
I tried multiple restores to every firmware version. No luck.
Finally gave up and drove from Canada to the States to try and exchange. The guys at the store were being ***holes and told me they would return the phone if I bought another one from ATT&T.
Strangely enough when I tested the phone in front of them the Wifi was working fine!
So I returned to my familys house just on the Canadian side of the border. Wifi was still working. I unlocked the phone. Everything went beautifully. It worked for at least 24 hours with multiple power ons.
I returned home(2 hours from border) last night and now my wifi does not work again. I have tried soft reset, hard reset, settings reset. Nothing helps! Wifi is still greyed out.
I really don't know what to do here. Is this a hardware issue? Is the iPhone blocking Wifi in Canada?
Any ideas?
