Installing iTunes app from 1.1.1 on 1.0.2?
Ok, might need to explain myself here... I actually quite like browsing the iTunes music store. Its quite a nice way to discover new music - especially since you can listen to a bit of it for free. On the very odd occasion, I have been known to actually buy the odd track, too.
Point is, maybe I'm one of the few that might actually appreciate being able to run the iTunes store app from 1.1.1 on my iphone. This may make me dumb, but I'm not stupid: I'm still running 1.0.2, and loving every open, third-party app'ed-up minute of it.
Soy question is: until the fine boys and girls crack the 1.1.1 firmware, is It even conceivable to be able to grab the iTunes music store app from 1.1.1 firmware and get it running on 1.0.2? Or would there be just too many other parts of a 1.1.1 OS that the iTunes app would rely on?
Yours thoughts or experiences would be much appreciated.
Thanks all. Keep up the good work!

I think by the time they figure out how to add the itunes wifi store to 1.0.2, they would already have had a solution for everyone to upgrade to 1.1.1, which is probably top priority right now. I have faith in the dev team!

The thing holding up anyone from trying the itunes app on a 1.0.2 phone is that no one can get the app files from a 1.1.1 phone or from the firmware download image. We'll have to wait until a 1.1.1 phone can be unjailed or the 1.1.1 firmware download image decrypted.
