i have a friend who is living in the US who has an iPhone. I was taking to him the other day about installer.app

now he has version 1.0.2 and gonna upgrade to 1.1.2 but can we install the installer.app without jail breaking and using anysim or whatever?

he just wants to add 3rd party apps but does not want to jail break.

First you should now what iPhone modding is all about...
Jailbreak: Enable the installation of 3rd party applications.
Activation: Bypass the activation if you dont have AT&T account.
Unlock: Enable you to use ANY sim card in the phone.
AnySIM is the app that unlocks.
Installer is the app you wanna get, and the only way to get it is jailbreaking your phone. Relax, this process can be easily undone, so dont need to worry about...

thanks but my friend is sure he does not want to unlock his fone......mine on the other hand is unlocked and runing 1.0.2 and wanna upgrade to 1.1.1 or 1.1.2 but i dont know how?

the instructions on the forum to virginise and update are too complicated for me.....u see im really bad with technology......
