Installing Applications on "unclocked" Iphone 3g
Hello;
I have Iphone 3G which is unlocked via turbo/magic sim to work on GSM service (Note: Not 'jailbreaked' but 'unlocked'). I wanted to ask if it is safe to download 3rd party applications as well as applications from Apple's store?
Thanks!

What do you mean by safe?
iPhone 4G, 16GB, JailBreak.
(and an old iPhone 2G with broken glass
)
Black iPod 5gen, 30GB.

What I mean is can/would downloading applications from Apple get my phone locked/disabled like it does with software upgrade? and can 3rd party apps be dangerous for my cell as well?

You only need to avoid taking firmware updates to be safe,
U'd have no worries with Appstore Applications
