My iPhone's modem firmware is dead, it has no IMEI and an Wi-Fi. I need to run the revirginizing tool in order to restore it, but to do htat, I need to issue terminal commands to the iPhone, the only way to do this is via MobileTerminal - I cannot get it to install

I have tried to restore to 1.0.2 in order to get iBrickr to work, but the iPhone won't work with 1.0.2. I try a DFU restore and it just sits there at the "waiting for iPhone" screen.

Firmware 1.1.2 and 1.1.3 can be installed fine via a DFU then normal restore however.

I think I have jailbroken the iPhone with ZiPhone 2.3, as I can upload files to it with iPHUC and iFuntastic, but Independence says it is still jailed. There is installer on the home screen though, so I think it has been jailbroken.

I have uploaded all the BSD Subsystem apps with iFuntastic and copied the contents of Terminal.app (MobileTerminal) to /Applications on the iPhone and have set Terminal.app/Terminal to executable via iFuntastic, however, MobileTerminal does not appear on my iPhone home screen.

Does anyone have any ideas on how I can get MobileTerminal to launch on my iPhone?
