Unhappy Incredibly weird thing going on!

My 3G iPhone worked perfectly for the last 2 1/2 months, but today something really really weird happened: I was browsing the internet using the 3G coverage when suddenly the phone's signal went off; so turned off the phone and then turned it on in order to get some signal strength, but the iphone wouldn't start, it wouldn't get past the apple logo. And that lasted for about half an hour, then an image of a cd and a plug appeared and sign saying connect to itunes; I said wtf?? and restarted the phone a couple more times. The third time I did that, my phone turned on, BUT I had no service and there was this sing saying: "waiting for activation, this may take some time" - similar to when you just got your phone. I did everything I imagined, and had no luck. So I decided to restore the phone back to its original settings, and so I did. But the phone still doesn't work!!!!!!! And when it is syncing the iphone suddenly turns itself off!!

I don't know what else to do!!!!!

The phone worked perfectly fine for the last couple of months and I never dropped it or anything!
