I just updated to 1.1.1, now i get an "incorrect sim message, however my phone was never unlocked, i have a service contract with AT&T and the phone was activated through iTunes when i chose my plan. The only mods were that I installed installer.app, I have restored my phone but it continues to say Incorrect SIM, Any help???

I'd take it to my nearest Apple store, if I were you. However, since you installed installer.app you probably voided your warranty.

since you are legal ATT subscriber there is no problem at all. just make a full restore with iTunes to 1.1.1, it will clean up your phone, removing installer.app, to bring it to the factory state and take it to the official service. there is no way after that to prove you had ever installed any 3rd party apps on your phone.

Yep , sounds like a common sense plan . after the upgrade nothing is left on the phone. They will never know.
