I have tried al methods to unlock my iPhone, all methods seem to be succesful until the end but when I insert the sim it does not work.

Please help I am desperate, what may be wrong wit my phone

Your phone may indeed be unlocked but perhaps you forgot to install the patch lockdownd file which does away with the need to activate new sims...

We need more specifics to go on. What happens when you put a sim other that AT&T in the phone?

i never had to use the patch lockdown file....not on any phone i have unlocked...am i lucky???

I am not t mobile user I am from south america, but my sim is active

What is strange is I already unlcked one iphone via hardware and works perfectly

oops... sorry. some reason i posted similiar message on wrong page

carlosvaldosta the patched lockdownd modifies the activation process so you never need to activate whenever you put a new sim in. Otherwise if you put in a new SIM you will get the familiar "activate your iphone message".

Depending on which activation method you used you may in fact have the patch lockdownd file already installed. For example, the PACAY windows activation method installs the patched lockdownd file as part the the batch file.
