Default I'm getting a bit fed up of my Iphone

So I've had a unlocked Iphone for a few weeks now - sure it was a nice new gimic at first. I SW unlocked it using the unlock.no method and activated YouTube - worked a treat

But now I'm bored of it, I miss not being able to recieve MMS messages from my mates, or the usual bluetooth exchanging that goes on. Sure they Iphone is gimiky and all that stuff, but I miss the features of what I used to be able to use my phone for .... and I hate to say it but the Iphone just doesnt cut it for me.

Anyone else feel like this. BTW if anyone wants to make me an offer you'll have it next day delivery if you want. I'm in the UK and it's currently running on the O2 network

I love my iPhone but I do miss MMS....Not everyone can get email on there phone. Actually most people can't...

I was at a party and felt kinda stupid cause I took a pic and someone wanted me to send it to there phone. I was like well I have this big fancy phone but I can only send it to your email...

However I would not give it up It is so much better than any other phone I have had..... Even simple things like today i got a text message with a phone number. The sms message recognized there was a number there and gave me a little blue arrow so I could assign it to my address book...so simple and easy.

You can send MMS messages, you just send them at '5557775656@pcs.rogers.com' for example. Just find out what the proper address is and add the person's number. Wouldn't this work with all carriers? I saw a post somewhere in here about it.

it's fun you did post your dispointement. It was a fantastic experience to unlock it at the beginning, looking for post and news each 10 minutes, being in the center of the action, looking to the race between dev team and the rest of the world, beating the Apple's engeneers. It was great.

But it is true that once you have a working iphone, you have a phone limited by design, like the no-Java, no mms, and all the work involved to circum navigate around those limitations-by-design, do not bear the excitement of unlocking it and are just a useless pain to do, without much of fun and glory. I suppose that in the future the designers off the iphone will get some slack from the marketers-businessman and will be allowed to offer us the lacking feature even if it means being able to use the true Skype via a wifi for a really free connection when you want one.

In the meantime, i support how you feel

Surfing the web, looking at pics and having my best tunes always with me is simply wonderful.

The inability of sending/recieving an MMS, forwarding/groupsending SMS, is simply unbeliavable.

It really does make me sick, i still can't understand why on earth you dont include such basics features. Not even in the update.

Seriously, a Ferrari without the windows.

yes, a good comparaison. but we have to keep in mind that it is the first adventure of Apple in the cellular. As is, they have made a wonderfull job. A great job. Nothing in this product is a me-too design. They had to build from scratch in a business they were not present and is already well occupied by giants. They now have the base to continue the design to wack them all. If they just let the bean counters off the back of the designers.

Can you imagine the free publicity the race between Apple and the Dev Team had procured to Apple. How many millions ? Even at one third of the cost of advertisement in newspaper, i can easily see a figure well over 100 millions.

May be Apple was the secret financer behind the DevTeam ; )
