[iLiberty+] Endless Loop Enter Recovery Mode
Hi Guys,
I have a v1.1.2 OTB iPhone which I used iPlus 2.0b to unlock, activate and upgrade to v1.1.4.
My phone was working perfectly, for about 4 weeks, before I decided to mess around with it!
I downloaded iLiberty+ v1.2.1.78 and tested it out a little. ALL I DID was to use the "Enter Recovery Mode" button in the "Other tools" tab.
It worked.
Then I used the "Jump out of Recovery Mode" button. It also worked.
Then....
4 days later, I rebooted my iPhone and instead of booting up normally, it booted directly into Recovery (or DFU) Mode! (Little icon asking you to 'plug in')
I tried rebooting my iPhone again, and again, and again .... it just keeps on booting up in recovery mode. an endless loop.
So I plugged it into my laptop, and used the "Jump out of Recovery Mode" button. It also worked.
But when I unplug it and reboot it, it again goes into Recovery Mode. Over and Over and Over...
Any ideas ???????

Why not just put it in dfu mode, restore and run iplus2.0b or pwned if you have a mac

I suppose that I could do that. But that is the "easy" answer to nearly EVERY problem that users experience.
It is really not good enough.
If it is so simple to make an application that gets you into recovery mode, and another one to get you out of recovery mode, then there must be a 'string' or variable or something saved on my iPhone that tells it "go into recovery mode".
Surely the real solution would be to identify what this is, and then fix the actual problem... in this situation...

I agree with what your saying I like to understand why things go wrong so that
I can get a better understanding of the phone programing etc.
But this isn't a very common problem so I suppose it really come
down to a few simple questions.
1) Do you want to spend a day trying to workout why it doesn't work because you enjoy the challenge like I do sometimes
or
2) Do you just want to get your phone working the quickest way poss without any big headaches.
