Thumbs up iFuntastic 3.5.5 WORKS with 1.1.1 & 1.1.2!! NO NEED FOR SSH

    Hi,
after reading many posts people have been complaining of problems with SSH, or they just don't know how to use it, so i have a easy solution that works on ANY jailbroken iPhone with ANY FIRMWARE inc 1.1.1 and 1.1.2

Just download iFuntastic 3.5.5 from here and open it.
once open choose File Manager ONLY DO NOT USE ANY OTHER FEATURE
as your iPhone is jailbroken you have access to the whole filesystem so there is no need for SSH and potential battery draining!!!
You can now upload and download files to your iPhone as much as you want and there is no more need for any terminal or commands!!!

    Hi kkdol.

Thanks for the tip here. I have given up on SSH and Fugo, cyberduck.....

What do you mean do not use any other feature when you choose file manager? Just so I understand properly.

Also, I am trying to get ringtones desperately from thememyiphone.com

I do have a 1.1.1 jailbroken unlocked phone, and I have itunes 7.5 (19) just so you know what I have.

I cannot figure out how to get the MP3 ringtones in ACC or M4a fileformat to drag onto the ringtones system page in Ifunastic.

    Thanks for any tips......

    very much appreciate your ime,

to convert the mp3 in itunes just right click on the song in itunes and click on convert to acc.... itunes does it atomatically then in your music file rename the file extension and voila you could use it as a ringtone in your phone....

    Hi,

    Thanks for the tip.

Can you tell me what is the renaming of the file extension exactly, and also, once you convert it from MP3 in itunes, to ACC, then rename the file extension, then, how do you get it to the iphone ringtone folder? Or do you drag it to the Itunes ringtone folder, not the iphone one, and sync? Just so I understand.

Also, I have itunes 7.5 (19) Is this a problem as I have read that with every itunes update ringtone issues change to keep us from doing this without paying Apple for the concept of custom ring tones?

    Cheers for any help,
