Default If new apps are released with baseband update...

    Hi folks,

Let's say, if Apple wants the baseband firmware to be updated so that pre-existing unlocking methods would no longer work.

So Apple releases a new firmware update with whole bunch of new goodies (apps), so that they can tempt people to update, just like sugaring a medication.

But most of us here are smart enough not to update straightaway because we found that a basebase firmware update is included in the package, but still want the goodies so bad

Then do you think it's possible to extract only the new .app files from new firmware update package, so that we can install the goodies without updating?

    Cheers,
    James

yes i think it will be possible to extract contents of the new updates and replace apps on the phone...but if they update some firmware im not sure as how we can flash these...the best would be if we could somehow alter the updates to not update the baseband firmware...
