hi guys i did the software unlock on my iphone
about 2 weeks ago and just notesed
my ICCID on the box does not match the phone any more
the IMEI does
did this happen to anyone else ?
is this why the update is bricking phones ?

I looked at mine and I saw that they were different. But then I realized that the ICCID number is what is printed on your SIM card. The one on the box matches the one on the AT&T SIM that shipped in the phone. I would bet that the one shown on the about page matches whatever SIM you have in your phone.

The IMEI # is the Phone ID Number, while the ICCID is the SIM Card ID.
When you change the SIM, you change the ICCID you're working on, but not the IMEI, which is coded in the Phone hardware.
